My Journey
I studied Biochemistry and Medical Technology in college. I worked in biotech research and manufacturing for many years before transitioned to a sales and marketing career path in 1986. The new roles led to management positions with increasing responsibilities. While serving in the biotech industry, I was an avid real estate investor with 6 investment properties in Northern California and Florida. In 2006, my job took me to Shanghai, China, and Seoul, Korea. I served as President and C.E.O. for GE Healthcare Life Sciences in Korea before I returned to the U.S. in 2011. After receiving my real estate broker's license, I took on another opportunity to serve in Asia as a C.O.O. for a Taiwanese firm from 2013 to 2014.
I returned to the U.S. in late 2014 to an empty nest. All my children had either started college or begun their own career. I decided to start a new journey by teaming up with my wife, Jean Hsia, to pursue our passion in real estate. She has been a real estate agent for more than 25 years. She connects well with her clients, pays attention to details and serves her clients with dedication. She is also a strong advocate for immigrants who are not familiar with the U.S. real estate market, a cause that we share. I am skilled in cross-cultural communications, complex business deals and have a keen perception of real estate value.
Many have lent their helping hands by coaching me and have given me opportunities along my journey. Using my experience and training, I want to help you with your open houses and build my career in real estate at the same time.
